Follow these simple step by step instructions to enable Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on Windows 7.

Step 1: Press ‘Windows’ key + R, and then type the following command in the run box:
ncpa.cpl

Step 2: Right-click the active connection that you want to share, and then click Properties.

Step 3: Click on the Sharing tab, and then select ‘Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection’ check box and click OK.

Note:

To restrict network users from modifying shared internet connection settings un-check the following box: Allow other network users to control or disable the shared internet connection.

If you have multiple adapters in your computer, you can manually choose which adapter the internet is shared with by selecting it from the drop down menu.
